Your role

As a Tax & Treasury Intern at Heineken Malaysia, you will be responsible for the following roles:

• Assist in tax compliance activities, gaining exposure to tax regulations, reporting, and documentation processes. This experience will provide a foundational understanding of tax laws and their practical applications.
• Engage in day-to-day treasury operations, including cash flow management, fund transfers, and banking relationships. This exposure will contribute to their understanding of financial resource management.
• Identify and assess financial risks, such as foreign exchange and interest rate exposure, and contribute to risk mitigation strategies under the guidance of experienced professionals.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports related to tax, treasury, and risk management, gaining insights into reporting standards and the importance of accurate financial documentation.
• Collaborate with diverse teams, including Finance, Legal, and Business Operations, to provide support and contribute insights to various projects, enhancing their teamwork and communication skills.

Training & development

Heineken Malaysia provides training to develop job and other skills such as Excel and PowerPoint, presentation skills, and tax / GST training. In addition, you will be exposed to real-life projects, supported by a line manager who will guide and coach you throughout your journey.
