Your role

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the team in identifying the interests and trends of customers in shopping for beauty to facilitate decision-making. You will also be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Assist in preparing weekly reports on sales and campaign analysis across different ventures. Provide operational support for campaign management and other marketing initiatives/mega day events (e.g. 11.11, 12.12).
  • Conduct market research (quantitative & qualitative) and identify competitive trends to facilitate strategy planning for the beauty category. Identify and evaluate new brands or potential brands that align with ZALORA’s branding.
  • Liaise with the team on campaign objectives and collaborate with the marketing and CRM departments to incorporate promotions into ZALORA’s marketing calendar.
  • Provide detailed support and contribution to ongoing projects such as web scraping, product tagging, etc. using recent technologies.
  • Practice data spreadsheet management to update and manage databases for merchants, and internal and external teams. Other ad hoc duties/analysis as assigned.

About you

  • Full professional proficiency (verbal and written) in English.
  • Strong interest and knowledge in the Beauty Industry (Fragrances, Cosmetics, Skincare, etc.).
  • Basic understanding of marketing terminologies, business acumen, and e-commerce platforms.
  • Tech-savvy, skilled in using Microsoft Office and G-Suite, strong understanding of sheets and formulas.
  • Able to commit at least 4 months and/or above.
  • A final-year student or recent graduate with a background in marketing/data analytics, business analytics, information systems, or statistics is preferred.
  • Desire to achieve outstanding results via critical thinking and attention to detail for given tasks.
  • A self-starter, quick learner, go-getter, proactive, and have the ability to learn and perform in a fast-paced & high-pressure environment.
  • Possess strong communication, teamwork, leadership, presentation skills, and confidence in speaking.
