Facilities and Process Planning Intern will assist the Process Development & Improvement Executive to manage the warehouse processes and improve and streamline current practices. The primary goal of the Facilities and Process Planning Intern is to provide support and execution to study the process flow in the warehouse and possible areas of improvement.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Initiate a Value Stream Map for ZALORA Regional Fulfillment Centre.
  • Maps out workflows identify opportunities to remove waste and low-value activities and recommends solutions to solve simple and complex problems.
  • Help lead changes efforts and monitor the progress of implementations.
  • To help and support the business process team in documenting/delivering process maps
  • Additional assignments will be to assist in business analysis, planning, engaging our various internal customers, and presentation skills during the internship.
  • Where needed will assist Process Development & Improvement Executive in the management of Corporate Projects/Programs.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Supply Chain, Engineering or Business field
  • Strong interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills.
  • Interest in working for an eCommerce industry.

  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a larger team
  • Detail-oriented with an ability to multitask, manage multiple assignments simultaneously.

  • Knowledge and/or experience with a variety of MS Office suite.
  • Analytical, with knowledge of Business process and process improvement strategies.
