Your role

In this role, you will have the responsibilities below:

• To develop assembly process jigs and fixtures as needed, ie PCB, mindset assembly for NPI product
• To develop & proliferate work instructions for critical features & assembly for NPI product
• To qualify SMT process relevant to PCB and SIP products
• To develop & qualify local sourcing & tooling buy, such as Plastics & Metal components
• Mass production process/assembly engineering management: Yield/Cycle time/production efficiency CIP
• A cost-saving initiative from product and process introduction

About you

To apply for this role, you are required to meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent  
• Able to generate 2D drawings with design requirement specifications, tolerances, tooling DFM, GDT, and etc.
• Added SMT process experience & knowledge is preferable
• Experience in secondary processes such as pad print, silk screen, mimaki, coating, etc
• Experience in automation projects will be an added advantage
• Has strong ownership and commitment to company goals and team goals
• Self-motivated and willing to take on challenges and improvements
• Able to work under pressure and required to work over-time to meet tight project schedule
• Good teamwork and constructive problem-solving skills, Root Cause analysis
• Experience and good communication with local CM and supplier to solve the issue
• Knowledge of PFMEA & Quality 6sigma tools
• Knowledge of Tolerance stack analysis
• Knowledge of FEA simulation and tools
