Your role

As an intern, you will conduct research on the current development practices and processes, perform gap analysis, and implement enhancements to the lab processes and workflows through hardware automation and optimization.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop hardware equipment for laboratory use, leveraging circuit knowledge and principles. 
• Conduct research to identify cutting-edge technologies and components for hardware design projects.
• Assist in integrating hardware components into existing laboratory infrastructure.
• Contribute to improving lab processes through automation and optimization.
• Document design specifications and procedures for future reference.
• Provide support for troubleshooting and resolving hardware-related issues in the laboratory environment. 
• Stay updated on advancements in hardware technology and industry trends relevant to laboratory instrumentation.

About you

Requirements for this internship

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Solid understanding of circuit theory, analog and digital electronics, and PCB design principles. 
• Hands-on experience with soldering, debugging, and testing electronic circuits.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with an eagerness to learn and apply new technologies and concepts. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment. 
• Interest in laboratory instrumentation, automation, and process improvement.
