Your Role

As a Western Digital intern, you’ll help provide solutions to real-world problems, develop your network by attending onsite and offsite networking events, and learn directly from Western Digital’s leadership team.

Responsibilities:

• This position requires the individual to own and passion to drive for ATE test system hardware project to completion from NPI, system integration, assembly, and deployment to engineering lab and factories.
• Hands-on practical approach from the assembly, system integration, lean process, test and debug ATE test system till PCBA board level.
• Collaborate well with others to achieve results consistently and continuously pursue improvement opportunities. Resolve challenges and perform root cause analysis on any issues encountered.

About You

• Bachelor’s degree in (Electronics or Computer) Engineering or equivalent.
• Solid electronic components knowledge and ability to read and understand tester electronic schematic, datasheet, and test hardware.
• Know how to use bench test equipment to perform electrical tests such as power supply, oscilloscope, waveform generator and etc. 
• Manage project timeline, resources, cost, and quality.
• Excellent knowledge of data analysis, process, problem-solving, and management skills.
• Familiarization with environmental chamber and programming experiences had added advantage.
• Must have proven ability to achieve results in a fast-moving, dynamic environment.
• Self-motivated and self-directed, however, must have demonstrated the ability to work well with people.
• A proven desire to work as a team member, both on the same team and outside of the team.
• Able to work on a tight project schedule with minimal supervision.
• Able to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
• Prepare report and technical presentation.
