Your role

As an Engineering (Die Attach) at Western Digital, you will have the following responsibilities:

• Ensure production machine performance is well maintained.
• Assist process/equipment engineers to carry out or set up new device evaluation/engineering runs when needed.
• Practice 6’s every time after maintenance/repairing /conversion
• Ensure all activities perform to the environmental procedures.
• Ensure that all waste/chemicals are properly stored/labeled and scrapped.   
• Maintain and perform troubleshooting on assigned operations.
• Highlight to superiors any activities in the company that may be contrary to the environmental policy.
• Handshake Passover/communication book and daily machine status report.
• Follow all environmental procedures in carrying out daily activities
• Highlight to the supervisor any activities in the company that may be contrary to environmental policy.
• Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned by the Company from time to time.

Training and development 

Western Digital provides lots of training for its employees related to your job role. Some of the employees said that the training is held regularly every Friday, but it’s not necessary.
