Your role

The Technology and Operations function is comprised of five teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance, and planning support and services. The team will work closely together to harness the power of technology to support the company's physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralizing, and standardizing technology systems as well as banking operations in Singapore and overseas branches.

Training & development

The Information Technology Graduate Programme is a holistic 15-month scheme to train the next generation of tech leaders. During this 15-month programme you will work within delivery teams and support the development of critical banking applications including software development, IT application services, and digital capabilities in various domains ranging from data, trading, and automation, to enterprise workflow and HR tech.

You will receive technical training, on-the-job coaching, tech leadership development, and mentoring from Master Trainers, all while working side-by-side with senior staff. You will gain real-world development experience rotating between multiple projects and teams. You will learn to apply Agile and DevOps practices to your work and assume progressively increasing responsibility as you grow your skills.

About you

If you are interested in joining Information Technology Graduate Programme at UOB Malaysia, you must have the following qualifications:

Minimum experience

  • No experience is necessary. Familiarity with Java, Python, C, or SQL is a bonus but not essential as you'll receive all the training you need to succeed.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, or a similar domain;
  • Additional professional/technical qualifications will be advantageous although not mandatory.
