Your role

Group Technology and Operations (GTO) provides software and system development, information technology support services, and banking operations. UOB has centralized and standardized the technology components in Singapore, creating a global footprint that can be utilized for supporting regional subsidiaries and branches around the world. The operations divisions provide transactional customer services for businesses while also focusing on cost efficiency through process improvements, automation, and straight-through processing. Here are the job responsibilities for this position:

  • Pre-screening and application pre-processing of Unsecured Loan Application Form. 
  • Ensure completeness of information and documentation.
  • Perform World Check One name screening for new to bank applications according to guidelines and review the result.
  • Perform income calculation of applicants.
  • Perform risk ranking according to relevant guidelines.
  • Escalate “High” and “Moderate” risk ranking to Cards & Payments Products for onboarding approval.
  • Perform coding on relevant fields in the application form.
  • Highlight any suspicious applications to the Cards & Payment Products Card Risk Unit based on criteria identified by the Card Risk Unit.
  • Application reconciliation and batching.   
  • Return incomplete application forms to respective channels for further action.
  • Perform verification of applications against submission listing.
  • Ensure Service Level Agreement (SLA) is met and complies with the bank’s policy, process, and compliance guidelines.
  • Prepare MIS and assist in other activities assigned by the Team Leader or Unit Head.
  • Ad-hoc assignments or tasks assigned by the Team Leader or Unit Head.

About you
