Your role

If you are joined as Management Associate at UOB Malaysia, you will do the following activities:

• Over a period of 18 months, you will undergo an accelerated induction experience to fast-track your career in the banking industry. 

Training & developments

Training for Management Associates typically starts with an induction program, where they are introduced to the organization's culture, values, policies, and procedures. This program may also cover basic banking concepts, products, and services.

After the induction, Management Associates may undergo several training programs that aim to develop their managerial and leadership skills. These programs may cover topics such as financial analysis, risk management, project management, customer service, communication, and team building. Depending on their area of focus, they may also receive specialized training in areas such as corporate banking, investment banking, wealth management, or digital banking.

Furthermore, UOB Malaysia may also provide mentoring and coaching programs to support the development of Management Associates. Mentors may provide guidance and advice on career development, while coaches may help them develop specific skills or overcome challenges.

Career progression

About you

• No more than two years of work experience.

Selection Process

A comprehensive and rigorous selection and assessment process is in place to help UOB identify ideal candidates for the UOB Management Associate Programme. This comprises ability tests as well as interviews with Human Resources and Senior Managers:

• Stage 1: Psychometric assessment
• Stage 2: Video interview 
• Stage 3: Group assessment
• Stage 4: Panel interview
• Stage 5: Offer

Invitations to psychometric assessment will be sent out to candidates every two weeks.
