Your role

As a Sourcing and Procurement Intern at Top Glove, you will have the following tasks & responsibilities:

• Responsible for conducting purchasing & store operations or activities.
• Sourcing and evaluating reliable vendors and maintaining good vendor customer relations.
• Issue PO to suppliers based on VO for hardware, latex, maintenance items, and miscellaneous items.
• Checking and acknowledge Delivery orders and Invoices and submit to the Account department.
• Purchase, delivery planning, delivery control, and stock control of chemicals, latex, and nitrile.
• Deal with suppliers on any quality issue, product sample, pricing & appointment.
• Assist in preparing a monthly purchasing report.
• In charge of selling scrap, metal, waste lumps/sludge, and garbage disposal.
• To work closely with other departments throughout the company.
• Prepare and send necessary letters to suppliers.
• To work closely with assigned Mentors for a better understanding of the work process of workflow within the Top Glove Group of Companies.
• Shall take additional responsibility as instructed by the immediate Superior.
• The scope of authority shall refer to the selected work process procedure/instruction.

Work-life balance

The working hours may depend on your job level, but generally, the office hours at Top Glove start from 08.30 AM to 6 PM, with a 1-hour lunch break, Monday to Friday, and one Saturday.
