Your role

As a Research & Development Intern at Top Glove, you will have the following tasks & responsibilities:

• Compound small-scale study.
• Hand-dip small-scale samples for R&D study.
• Conduct lab tests relevant to R&D studies.
• Conduct tensile strength tests for related R&D studies samples and line monitoring samples.
• Select suitable lines for hand-dipping and arrange former boy assistance during hand-dipping.
• Wash the R&D tanks and maintain the cleanliness of the R&D apparatus.
• To conduct an R&D study, analyze data, and prepare an R&D report.
• Evaluate new chemicals or new latex.
• Shall take additional responsibility as instructed by the immediate Superior.
• The scope of authority shall refer to the selected work process procedure/ instruction.

Training & development

In general, Top Glove's employees receive on-the-job coaching and training and are engaged in professional classroom development. This is to ensure they are equipped with competencies needed for their present job as well as future advancement. Besides the conventional learning approach, Top Glove's training platform includes e-learning.

Work-life balance

The working hours may depend on your job level, but generally, the office hours at Top Glove start from 08.30 AM to 6 PM, with a 1-hour lunch break, Monday to Friday, and one Saturday.
