Your role

As a Research & Development Intern (Intellectual Property) at Top Glove, you will have the following tasks & responsibilities:

• To prepare, review, and comment on IP-related documents. 
• To arrange meetings or discussions with inventors, IP agents, or any parties. 
• To update the master list of IPs from time to time. 
• Documents filing and safekeeping. 
• To ensure documents are processed and handled in a timely and efficient manner. 
• To assist superiors in any cases, emergency meetings, etc. 
• Adhoc assignments.

Training & development

In general, Top Glove's employees receive on-the-job coaching and training and are engaged in professional classroom development. This is to ensure they are equipped with competencies needed for their present job as well as future advancement. Besides the conventional learning approach, Top Glove's training platform includes e-learning.

Work-life balance

The working hours may depend on your job level, but generally, the office hours at Top Glove start from 08.30 AM to 6 PM, with a 1-hour lunch break, Monday to Friday, and one Saturday.

About you

• Any Science-related background. 
• Good command of English (spoken and written). 
• Detailed-oriented, strong follow-up, and good communication skills. 
• Pleasant personality and ability to interact with all levels of people. 
• Can work together with all people to make the task work properly. 
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
