Responsible for the chemical and physical testing of raw materials and finished goods as well as performing sampling on incoming raw materials according to approved test methods and SOPs.
To perform sampling on packaging materials and physical testing of primary packaging materials according to approved test methods and SOPs.
Prepare worksheets and reports on analyzed samples on time.
To support change controls, investigations, CAPAs, deviation, etc when necessary.
Participate in external/regulatory audits and follow up on the corrective action and preventive action needs.
To amend or establish SOPs, testing methods, and specifications when necessary.
To monitor and purchase laboratory/testing consumables when necessary.
To liaise with vendors regarding equipment calibration, preventive maintenance, breakdown, purchases, installation, etc.
To ensure GMP and GLP practices strictly adhere at all time.
To perform investigation and follow up for packaging material deviation with the vendor.
To assist in water sampling and environmental monitoring when necessary.
To perform method validation when necessary.
To assist in a product complaint investigation or testing failure when necessary.
To identify areas for continuous improvement.
Assist in staff training when required.
To maintain laboratory cleanliness.
Other duties as assigned by QC supervisor.
