Your role

In this role, you will have the following duties and responsibilities:

• Strategic
  • Develop the IT infrastructure and solutions on a timely basis as assigned by the Company Management.
  • Contribute to the development of the Digitalization vision and strategies of the company in promoting business growth
  • Maintain good relations with key personnel and stakes holders within the organization.
  • Gather relevant knowledge and market information to ensure the company is well-positioned to benefit from the latest know-how and take advantage of the continuously evolving market and business environment in the automotive industry
  • Continuously explore possible improvements for the Company
  • Assist and advise other departments in any business development needs and inquiries
• Financial
  • Ensuring the budgeted capex for the specific business development projects is managed appropriately in order to maximize the returns
  • Responsible for the best value of service is obtained via specific negotiation endeavors
  • Monitor all related budgets throughout the year to ensure spending levels are as budgeted.
• Process & Operational
  • Assist the various departments in establishing and reviewing the relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in compliance with the Principal’s guidelines and also Sime Darby’s
  • Advise and assist other relevant departments with regard to specific projects coordinated by the Principal’s Business Development team or any other special projects by Sime Darby and/or the Principal
