Your role

In this role, you will have the following tasks and responsibilities:

  • Administrative duties
    • Assist the Managing Director & General Manager with the administrative duty such as organizing appointments and meetings, travel arrangements
    • Assist with minutes taking and coordinate action points
    • Attend to visitors, provide general support, and channel the assistance to the right department
    • Assist to create presentations, reports, and document handling
    • Ensure and maintain the office supplies and inventories such as stationeries, sundries, and pantry items
    • Handle the office upkeep and maintenance by dealing with the building management and administrative contractors
    • Assist with data entry and keep track and update internal databases.
  • Projects & Events
    • Assist with employee engagement activities, help and be involved with the coordination of the company’s events
    • Participate in HR projects (e.g., help organize a job fair event).
    •  Assist with recruitment activities such as coordinating interviews
    • Assist with audit and compliance activity and documentation
    • To carry out other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
    • To ensure compliance and conformance to the Sime Darby Berhad Group Policies and Authorities (GPA), Code of Business Conduct (COBC), and any applicable policies, guidelines, and standard operating procedures issued by the Company and/or the Group as well as any such applicable laws and regulations in the jurisdictions where the Company is operating.
