Your role

The Operation teams at Shopee cover the operational end-to-end process, from when the buyer searches for a product listed on the Shopee platform, to the moment the buyer receives the product. The team analyses and monitors operational KPIs across the region and conducts root cause analysis when operation performance fluctuates. The Operations team comprises Customer Service, Payment, Listings, Warehouse, Logistics, Seller Operations, and Fraud. Browse Operations team openings to see how you can make an impact with Shopee.

What will you do?

• Reviews fraud-related cases daily and detect fraudulent activities on e-commerce transactions based on data and patterns
• To be involved in the end-to-end manual investigation and fraud monitoring
• To respond to customer inquiries on fraud measures taken on buyers & sellers
• To assist in appeals and escalation of fraud-related cases
• To be able to comprehend and process available data regarding Fraud
• To assist in building Fraud projects such as enhancing methods of data analysis, data compilation, and overall process improvement

About you

Shopee looks for the following requirements in you:

• Open for all final-year students from any major with a bachelor's degree or higher. Candidates with no / less than 1 year of experience are welcomed
• Able to commence a full-time internship for a minimum of 3 months
• Able to start internship immediately (preferably)
• Detailed-oriented and able to solve problems efficiently in a dynamic working environment
• Good analytical skills and comfortable with handling data
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Having a customer services experience is a plus
• Proficient in SQL is a plus
