Your role

As a driver recruitment intern at Shopee Malaysia, you have to do the following roles:

• Participate in the Shopee Xpress driver recruitment process, which involves sourcing, screening, and selecting ideal individuals.
•  Manage the Shopee Xpress driver recruiting pipeline, which includes determining resource status and needs, coordinating recruiting events, and sourcing activities.

Training & development

In the Shopee official career blog, one of an intern at Shopee Malaysia shared her training and development experience. On the first day, the interns will receive a welcome gift bag with stationery and a Shopee notebook, along with the laptop. Next, you will get the onboarding briefing to know the company's core values, culture, and environment. Then, you will be mentored by the manager to do the projects.

Career progression

Upon completion of the program, Shopee Malaysia does not give the next career path. However, you have the chance to be hired as a full-time employee if the company needs it someday. Show your best performance during the internship. Besides, an internship at Shopee is good for your resume.

It is stated in the official career of Shopee that employees will get a work-life balance. You can work hybrid whether from home or the office with flexible working hours. There will be Employee Engagement Events. However, sometimes you have to work overtime during peak campaign days.

About you

If you are interested to join Shopee Malaysia as a driver recruitment intern, you have to meet the following qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in any major field
• Passionate about people, services and culture
• Have a strong affinity for hands-on execution, problem-solving, and result-orientation
• Demonstrates exceptional communication competency, both in Bahasa Malaysia and English to liaise with stakeholders
• Hardworking, highly accountable, and reliable
• Good team player, positive attitude, motivated and eager to learn
• Full-time interns preferred, who are able to start immediately in March 2023
• Able to work in Menara Southpoint
