Your Role
As a Continuous Improvement Intern at Collins, you'll join their CORE team to play a pivotal role in enhancing organizational efficiency. You'll assist in identifying, analyzing, and implementing process improvements across various departments, using continuous improvement methodologies to drive effectiveness. This hands-on role offers valuable experience in process optimization and contributes to impactful projects that enhance their operations and deliver value to their customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Process Analysis and Improvement
- Assist in the evaluation of existing processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
- Conduct data analysis to support process improvement initiatives.
- Develop and document new processes and workflows.
Project Support
- Support CORE projects from inception through implementation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and insights.
- Track project progress and report on key performance indicators.
Data Collection and Reporting
- Collect and analyze data to identify trends and measure the impact of improvement efforts.
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.
- Maintain accurate records of project activities and results.
Training and Development
- Assist in the development and delivery of training materials for CORE initiatives.
- Support workshops and training sessions to educate employees on CORE tools and techniques.
About You
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
