Job responsibilities

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Technical Writer & Trainer Intern to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will assist in the creation, organization, and maintenance of technical documentation and training materials that support our products and services. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to develop their skills in technical writing and training within the fintech space.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist in drafting, editing, and formatting user manuals, guides, and other technical documentation.
  • Support the development of training materials, including tutorials, presentations, and e-learning modules, to educate internal and external audiences.
  • Work closely with senior technical writers, engineers, and product managers to gather information and ensure accuracy and clarity in all documentation.
  • Participate in user testing and feedback sessions to help refine and improve existing documentation and training resources.
  • Organize and manage content in our documentation management system, ensuring consistency and easy accessibility.
  • Attend team meetings and contribute ideas to improve documentation and training processes.
  • Shadow senior team members to gain insights into the technical writing and training functions within a payment gateway environment.

Pre-requisites

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Technical Writing, Communications, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • A basic understanding of technical concepts, particularly in the fintech or payment processing space, is a plus.
  • Familiarity with documentation tools (e.g., Microsoft Word, Google Docs, Confluence) and training software (e.g., Articulate, Canva, and Adobe Captivate) is an advantage but not required.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Eagerness to learn, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
