Your role

In this role, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Assist lawyers in legal matters which may involve a review of contracts and drafting of documents
  • Researching applicable laws, regulations, and case law
  • Assist lawyers with company compliance tasks
  • Support legal administration matters and general requirements of the business as and when required which may include document management and signature process
  • Other learning assignments& tasks are assigned by the legal team from time to time.

Training & development

This will be a 3 months internship placement with the SEA legal team that is based in Malaysia. During the internship, you will get an opportunity to experience the in-house legal life in the MNC industry. Randstad also runs courses on key business skills such as sales and communication to help you propel your career forward. About you

If you want to apply for this role, you need to meet the requirements below:

  • Possesses a degree in law holder or awaiting CLP examination for results
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel would be an added advantage
  • Accountable and committed to a given task(s)
  • Fluent in reading and writing skills in English and Bahasa Melayu
  • The ability to speak and/or read Mandarin will be an advantage.
  • Positive attitude, energy, willingness to take up new challenges and to learn in a corporate environment
  • Full-time working hours under a hybrid working model
  • Skills: review of contracts, drafting of documents, conducting research, compliance tasks
  • Bachelor's degree in law holder or awaiting CLP examination for results
