Your role

A career in the Company Secretariat practice will provide you with the opportunity to help clients adopt a more strategic approach to global entity governance across their organizations. PWC helps its clients and their legal entities with the incorporation of new companies, ongoing compliance with local legislation, and restructuring of their global businesses to manage governance and compliance risks.

The team helps the clients ensure they are compliant with statutory obligations based on best practices and amended rules and regulations. You’ll help clients with board compliance and governance, corporate governance consultancy services, and health checks based on clients’ secretarial arrangements.

Responsibilities

As an Associate, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping the clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Proactively assist the team in various aspects of the project
  • Prepare deliverables
  • Contribute to the development of your own and your team’s technical acumen
  • Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues
  • Ensure you are adhering to compliance matters
  • Work on developing internal relationships and your PwC brand

Compensation & benefits

The estimated base pay may range from MYR 34000 to MYR 42000 per year. The estimated additional pay is MYR 5,000 per year. It also offers the following benefits :

About you

PWC is looking for candidates with the following requirements for this job:

  • Degree in any discipline and/or a professional accounting qualification such as the ICAEW / ACCA / MICPA-CAANZ / CPA Australia
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Possess good leadership skills and demonstrate resilience
  • Able to demonstrate the ability to interact with people of different backgrounds and build meaningful relationships
  • Able to demonstrate analytical thinking and business acumen
