Career progression

My Growth Journey is PwC Malaysia’s ecosystem to support its people's development as PwC professionals. Through essential elements such as real-time development, growth conversations, and PwC's own 'Snapshots' (an easy and digital way to assess the development), it wants to make sure the people grow both professionally and personally.

The accelerating pace at which technology is developing has impacted the way PWC works and does business. A key priority for PwC Malaysia is to upskill its people and prepare them for the future of work. PWC’s Future Skills initiative builds both their digital and human skills so that they have the agility to remain relevant as their roles evolve.

Work-life balance

flex+ is PWC’s flexible work arrangement policy which incorporates various forms of work flexibility and benefits in consideration of people’s lives outside work. This journey began in 2013, and since then it has progressively enhanced flex+ with initiatives such as flexWear where they can dress for the day, firm-wide block leave called Rest & Refresh, and flex Friday, which allows employees to leave work at 12:30 pm every second Friday of the month.

flex+ is divided into three main categories:

  • flex@work,
  • parents@work.
  • life@work
