Your role

As a Quality Intern, you will have the key responsibilities below:

  • To perform daily quality control inspection and testing activities including in-coming, in-process, and out-going for raw materials and finished good products according to quality requirements and methods.
  • To immediate feedback to the Quality Engineer on any abnormal quality issues for further action.
  • To help the Quality Engineer in maintaining and updating all quality control logs, documentation, and reports.
  • To assist the Quality Engineer in doing various ongoing projects and improvements under the Quality Control Department for monitoring activities.
  • To assist the Quality Engineer in conducting research and analysis to identify potential areas for improvement in quality control processes, including the implementation of new technologies in the laboratory.
  • To assist the Quality Engineer in performing an investigation on customer complaints, rejection, and returned goods caused by the raw material or finished goods products.
  • Adhere to the work area to safety protocols follow PPG policy and contribute to developing and maintaining a safe working environment.
  • To carry out any other duties, ad-hoc assignments, and instructions as directed or instructed by the Quality Control Engineer.

About you

To apply for this role, you need to meet the requirements below:

  • Currently pursuing a diploma or degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of continuous improvement methodologies and principles.
  • Familiarity with chemical equipment and measurement concepts.
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
