Your role

As a Software Development Intern, you will be part of MBTI team. Mercedes-Benz Tech Innovation (MBTI) is part of software developer team based in Mercedes-Benz Malaysia Sdn Bhd. You will be responsible for the following role:

• Engage in on-job-trainings within own department and cross-functional teams to gain knowledge and experiences on organization’s core businesses
• Plan, develop, implement, monitor and report the progress of tasks/projects defined with the supervisors, including Continuous Improvement projects
• Work side by side with software engineers within the given project scopes
• Support day-to-day operations to ensure fulfillment of organizational goals

Training & development

At Mercedes-Benz, interns can collect initial practical experience and work on tasks independently from the very beginning. Mercedes-Benz also offers you the opportunity to get some exciting insights into a global group. Moreover, the company will provide an advisor who will support you if you have any questions or requests.

Career progression

It is a 6-month structured internship program for undergraduate/final-year students. Remuneration depends on the type of internship and on the regulations in the respective country. However, a Software Development Internship is a talent pool for an internship placement at the MBTI Department. Upon the completion of the program, you will have the chance to join as full-time if you have excellent performance.

About you

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT or (or equivalent)
