Your role

Tasks:

Car Wash Facility upgrade for MBM Storage Yard

• To identify the shortcomings or weaknesses of the current car wash facility.
• Prepare a proposal to upgrade the Car Wash facility:
• A proper wastewater flow, wastewater treatment, etc.
• Suitable chemical/car shampoo, which is environmentally friendly, and less hazardous.
• Other requirements needed to build a proper car wash facility within the specifications related to the Environmental Quality Act etc.
• Coordinate and communicate with relevant parties – e.g.: vendor/contractor, Service Provider, Production Plant’s relevant departments, etc.
• Monitoring the project progress and updating/presenting it to management on a regular basis.

About you

Qualifications:

• Local students from IPTA / IPTS (Degree in Mechanical Engineering)
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Catia, and Autocad
• Minimum internship duration is six (6) months
• Candidate to have the ability to communicate effectively — to translate ideas and convey information to all levels. Good interpersonal skills, ability to collaborate with others, good time management, and able to prioritize responsibilities.
• Experience in leading a small project in a university would be an advantage.
