Your role

For their newly founded parts logistics operations entity (MBPLAP), Mercedes-Benz is establishing finance and controlling processes, aiming for digital and automated solutions.

Within the Controlling department, you will take responsibility in the following areas:

• You will assist in the reporting of all financial key performance indicators of an entity including pricing, expenses, revenue, investment, and stock on hand for both planning and actuals processes, and support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and presentations for Management reviews.
• You will perform variance analysis to explain deviations from targets in actuals vs. planning and provide transparency to selected stakeholders.
• You will help the Company to drive automation and data processing by assisting in the development of an automated planning and actuals tracking process for selected key performance indicators to provide actionable insights to stakeholders using data analytics and visualization tools as well as a reporting and integration platform.

About you

Qualifications:

• Field of Study: Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or ideally Business informatics
• IT Skills: Software and data analytics skills (Power BI, KNIME, MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
• Language Skills: Fluent English and German will be an advantage

• Solid understanding of overall financial processes.
• Proactive, open-minded, curious, and collaborative approach.
• Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data sets.
