MBPLAP Accounting, Tax & Treasury Internship null

Your role

In this role, you will do the tasks below:

• Assist in the execution of accounting functions for Account Payables
• Assist in the preparation of Accounts Payable reporting and analysis
• Assist in cash flow/fund allocation requirements, payment executions, and ICS control performance
• Assist in creating the non-PO purchases and aging report
• Assist in liaising with SSC on the management of vendors, monthly IC Confirmation, vendor balance reconciliation, and other account payables associated tasks
• Assist in handling local and overseas suppliers’ invoices & resolve all unclear and dispute items to ensure all invoices are posted, paid, and cleared on time
• Assist in payment requests, staff claim processing, vendor master data creation, invoices clearing, and resolving all unreconciled items.
• Assist in asset management-related matters including asset creation, capitalization, and tagging
• Assist in handling corporate tax filing, Withholding Tax, and Compliance
• Assist in handling custom duty-related matters
• Assist in ad-hoc project handling

About you

To apply for this role, you need to meet the qualifications below:

• Field of study: Degree/Professional Study in Accounting
• IT skills :
  • Microsoft Excel – Expert
  • Microsoft PowerPoint – Intermediate
  • Microsoft PowerBI – Basic
  • SAP – Preferred
• Language skills: Fluent English and German will be an advantage
• Other qualifications : 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
  • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
  • Professional and reliable
  • Have a driving license for business travel
