Your role

As a Compliance Intern at Mercedes-Benz Malaysia, you will be responsible for the following roles:

• Assisting Compliance Manager in Compliance Training - preparing slides, attendance list, sending training invitation 
• Assisting Compliance Manager in Internal Control System Cycle (ICS) - taking minutes of meetings, reviewing documents submitted by business unit, etc
• Conducting health checks and preparing reports for Sanctions Compliance and Sponsorships and Donations etc 
• Preparing Compliance internal communication - topics related to Integrity, Anti- Corruption, Personal Data Protection, Sanctions Compliance, Social Compliance, Anti- Money Laundering 
• Promoting Integrity and Compliance in MB Malaysia 
• Clerical and administrative works. 

Training & development

At Mercedes-Benz, interns can collect initial practical experience and work on tasks independently from the very beginning. Before you work independently, there will be two weeks training period. The company also offers you the opportunity to get some exciting insights into a global group. Moreover, the company will provide an advisor or mentor who will support you if you have any questions or requests.

About you

To apply for this position you have to fulfill the qualifications below:

• Degree in Law (LLB), HR, Business Law, Admin etc 
• Familiar with Microsoft Office - word, excel, PowerPoint, etc
• Familiar with Canva app, or any other apps to support compliance communication. Creativity in creating posters for internal communication.
• Fluent in English and Malay (writing, reading) 
• Independence, good communication skills, and team player
