Your role

In this role, you will have the following tasks & responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements, perform ad hoc analytical requests, and translate business use cases and inquiries into actionable insights. 
• Participate in data validation activities to verify the accuracy and consistency of data, and preprocess data to ensure data integrity. 
• Assist in capturing data attributes, maintaining metadata repositories, documenting data definition, analysis methodologies, and findings to ensure transparency and reproducibility of results. (SharePoint Update) 
• To facilitate material for Weekly Performance Updates, Monthly Business Reviews, and other meetings. 
• Contribute to various data-related projects and initiatives as needed.

Work-life balance

According to most employees, the work-life balance in Maxis is fairly good with regular hours, 8 hours a day, and flexible working hours. Some positions like those who work at technical support or customer service may work in shifts, with the available hours below (including a 1-hour break):

• 6:00 am to 3:00 pm
• 7:00 am to 4:00 pm

About you

For this role, Maxis prefers a candidate who has the following qualifications:

• A minimum requirement of a  Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Finance, or related fields.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications especially MS PowerPoint and MS Excel (Intermediate).
• Proficiency in SQL or data visualization tools like Qlik, Tableau, and Power BI.
• Ability to translate segregated data into compelling narratives and insights, with a keen eye for detail.
• Demonstrates a proactive, adaptable approach to learning and problem-solving, while effectively managing priorities and stakeholder needs.
