Cybersecurity Operations Intern null

Your role

This internship offers hands-on experience in vulnerability assessments, analysis, remediation, and automation projects. In this role, you will have the key responsibilities below:

• Vulnerability Assessments: Conduct regular vulnerability scans across servers, endpoints, and IoT devices.
• Vulnerability Analysis and Prioritization: Analyze scan results, evaluate risks, and prioritize vulnerabilities for remediation based on severity and business impact.
• Vulnerability Validation and Remediation: Collaborate with team members to investigate and validate vulnerabilities, assisting in developing and implementing remediation plans.
• Vulnerability Management Reporting: Create comprehensive reports detailing findings, remediation progress, and residual risks. Present reports to stakeholders and participate in discussions.
• Emerging Threats and Vulnerabilities Research: Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends, providing insights to the team.
• Automation Project: Develop a project to automate the vulnerability management process, such as creating scripts or leveraging tools to streamline scanning, analysis, and reporting.

About you

To apply for this role, you need to meet the requirements below:

• Understanding of network protocols and network security concepts.
• Knowledge of Networks and Security, and scripting languages such as Bash/Shell, C++, or Python.
• Experience with System Administration.
