Key responsibilities:

  • Engage in safety and health inspections and audits to ensure compliance with applicable safety and health legislation and other requirements.
  • Assist in organizing safety and health activities, including events and training programs.
  • Contribute to the development and updating of safety and health induction materials for employees and project owners, ensuring these are easily accessible on the company's intranet.
  • Assist in preparing, maintaining, and updating safety and health documents and records as required by applicable OSH legislation and other requirements.
  • Support various business functions in the areas of safety and health by assisting with relevant tasks.
  • Assist in the communication of safety and health policies, procedures, and guidance to all employees, ensuring that these are regularly updated on the internal portal.
  • Educate employees on safety and health procedures and regulations, promoting a strong safety culture within the organization.
  • Assist in the distribution and record-keeping of first aid kits.
  • Collaborate with own team and other process teams to identify and implement improvement opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Health, Safety & Environment or Occupational Safety & Health.
  • Proficient in writing and communicating in English and Malay.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational, and time management skills, and attention to detail.
