At Lenovo, we are committed to delivering cutting-edge technology solutions and exceptional support to our clients. We are looking for a qualified IT engineer to assist in various stages of the technical support center flow. As a Managed Service Desk Trainee, you will be part of our dynamic team, working to ensure seamless technical support.

This traineship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in technical support and case management. You will have the chance to work alongside experienced professionals in Lenovo's technical support operations, gaining practical experience in client support and technology troubleshooting, with guidance from mentors and other members of our team.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to troubleshoot and resolve device-related issues.
  • Monitor end-to-end case management processes.
  • Follow up on cases with Logistics & Field Services in a timely manner to ensure service delivery.
  • Participate in team meetings and provide insights on improving service delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Escalate complex cases to senior management and provide recommendations for resolution.
  • Participate in training sessions to identify gaps in current processes and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Gain exposure to different markets outside of Malaysia through job shadowing and research.
  • Assist in generating insightful reports and data visualizations to drive process improvements.
  • Provide input and briefings through regular meetings, highlighting efforts, actions, and results.
  • Participate in continuous learning initiatives to enhance professional skills and expertise.

Trainee requirements

  • Comfortable with technology, quick to learn new technical skills, and proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stakes, and constantly changing environment.
  • Proactive, independent, and highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher.
