Your role

This program aims to equip candidates with the necessary skills in the data and analytics space. At the end of this program, candidates can expect to have technical and functional capabilities which are essential for RPA Developer / Automation Specialist role. Some of the focus of this program will be: -

Responsibilities

• Identify: Analyze business processes and identify potential areas for automation and process optimization
• Design & Build: Design Future State process from the identification process. Build automation workflows using Microsoft Power Automate Desktop
• Implement and Conduct unit and user testing. Identify bugs and perform fixes on the automation program as required. Execute Go-Live
• Monitor: Measure automation performance and validate the business case. Identify future enhancement and lessons learned. Produce process & technical documentation.

The Apprenticeship program is specifically designed to blend hands-on experience with relevant training to enhance your job competency. As part of the Firm’s talent development program, it is committed to investing in automation technology training for its apprentices to achieve the necessary accreditations.

Your mission is to analyze business processes and identify opportunities for automation using automation technologies. The Apprenticeship program comes with a unique feature of one-to-one mentorship where you will be guided by an assigned mentor throughout the program. Upon completion of the program, you'll stand a chance to be offered a permanent role at KPMG Lighthouse.

About you

The requirements and qualifications for the role are as follows :

• Availability of 6 months and above.
• Bachelor’s degree with – IT related: Computer Science equivalent
• Good conceptual knowledge of current Automation technologies & trends in the market
• Strong communication skills and business eccentric
• Independent, self-motivated, organized, results-oriented, teamwork spirit, attention to detail, good problem-solving skills, and ability to undertake multiple tasks to meet challenging deadlines.
• Prior experience or project knowledge related to automation tools will be an added advantage
• Basic knowledge of programming e.g. VB .Net, C#, Python will be a huge plus
• Comfortable working with complex business processes
• Basic knowledge of Adobe PDF and Office 365 such as MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook, and MS Power Platform.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.

Good to have:

• Experience in working with one of the programming languages (e.g. VB.net, Python)
• Experience in working with database and data query language (e.g. SQL)
• Experience in working with project management methodology concepts
