About the role
This Food Safety Administrator role is a Fixed-Term 6 months contract in Kerry's Penang office, Malaysia.
Key Responsibilities
- Participates, under the guidance of senior Kerry personnel, in the research and analysis of areas such as Food Safety regulations, processes, procedures, systems, methods, reports, and forms, while learning the fundamental Food Safety and operations.
- Applies basic statistical and management analysis techniques to interpret the data to meaningful outcomes.
- Effectively utilize the capabilities and functions of standard office software applications such as data management, excel spreadsheet, presentation, word processing, and communications in completing assigned reports/projects.
- Prepares reports, presentations, operational documents, and other communications containing descriptive, and analytical content related to food safety.
- Coordinate with site Quality to collect, compile and verify data with SAP, EPM, Intelex, etc where appropriate.
- May perform a wide variety of paraprofessional, technical and clerical tasks during peak workload periods or in the absence of assigned personnel.
- Performs another business-related duty as assigned.
Qualifications and skills
- Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing in English.
- Well-versed with Microsoft office, such as word-processing, spreadsheet, Presentations, database management, etc
- 3rd or 4th year of university/ colleague graduate, food technology/microbiology will be preferred.
- Basic methods and techniques of data analysis and data management.
- Coordinate with multiple stakeholders across APMEA to gather pertinent facts and data, make thorough analyses, and arrive at sound conclusions.
- Learn and effectively utilized specialized computer software related to assigned functions.
