Your role

Spend your summer working with industry experts to gain insight into how businesses come together to serve their clients around the world. You'll have the opportunity to make meaningful contributions while developing your professional expertise in a dynamic team environment.  

If you enjoy collaborating and identifying ways to improve processes, then the Asia Analyst Development Program is right for you. You’ll work with a variety of professionals to drive growth, make sure operations are effective, and manage risk while maintaining the highest standards.  

Training, development & rotations

This 9-week program — a talent pipeline for the full-time rotational Asia Analyst Development Program — is specifically designed to develop a pipeline of well-rounded future leaders of the firm for the ASEAN franchise. The program exposes candidates to revenue and non-revenue-generating divisions from front, middle to back office roles. This means you get a holistic view of the firm and experience the breadth and variety of experiences across different functions of the bank to gain insights into how its businesses come together and deliver value for its clients. 

Compensation & benefits

The compensation offered for the Summ Analyst Development Program is MYR 18,000 per year approximately.

As it is a pipeline for future graduate opportunities, based on individual performance and achievements, those who successfully complete the program may receive offers of full-time employment with the firm in 2024. Holding the permanent right to work in Malaysia is an advantage, however, candidates requiring visa sponsorship may still apply.

  • Enthusiasm for financial services or the financial industry with an open mind to learn all functions in a financial institution, with no particular preference 
  • Relevant experience and demonstrated leadership in a school or community organization 
  • The global company whose primary business language is English and so fluency in English is required 
  • The role focuses on client engagement and business development for Malaysian clientele. Knowledge of Bahasa Malaysia is essential and preferred for this role 
  • Pursuing a degree qualification with solid academic background and expected graduation between December 2023 and July 2024
