Your role

Your internship experience could be in any of the following disciplines:

• Fulfilling tasks assigned by a supervisor.
• Managing minor projects from planning, getting quotations, specification, monitoring, and closure (office move, office conversion, new office setup, etc)
• Ensure all vendor workers are monitored and accompanied during the duration of their work.
• Identifying risks, constraints, issues, and dependencies that impact projects.
• Proactively develop and manage clients ensuring that the expected service levels are achieved.
• Ensure all safety aspects of the works are monitored.
• Assist the team in doing paperwork and documentation
• Event handling or planning
• Job shadowing
• Learning technical skills related to the industry

Training & development

This internship will allow you to work closely under the mentorship of an experienced facilities management professional. You will gain a better understanding of some of the daily tasks related to their area of expertise.

You will also be engaged in structured learning activities that will help you explore how you can develop into a corporate real estate professional. You will have the opportunity to hear from senior stakeholders on their journeys, as well as benefit from the available group coaching and self-paced learning modules.

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/ Facilities Management / Building Maintenance-related courses (preferable on last year/last semester) or recently graduated
• Well-versed in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Good written/spoken English skills (intermediate level)
• Able to communicate and coordinate with vendors to execute any projects/tasks given.
• Have good presentation skills
• Added value – if have basic knowledge of SharePoint
