Your role

Curious to know how Intel designers enable test or debug capability on their chip? You can join them for an exciting career in the Malaysia Design Center Chipsets Design Team as a SoC DFT Design Graduate Trainee. In this position, you will have an opportunity to design, develop, and validate the Chipsets and SoC IPs for Intel’s latest product, focusing on DFT and Debug. There will be the opportunity to be trained and to gain exposure to perform SoC design work such as:

  • RTL logic design in System Verilog, Verilog, or other Hardware description language
  • Perform validation of the Design for Testability (DFT) or Debugability (DFD) functionality of new architectural features of the next-generation designs by developing test plan, test content, coverage points, or test tools
  • Collaborate with stakeholders such as Structural Design, SoC RTL, Architecture/Microarchitecture, IP Design, Post-Silicon Manufacturing, and other teams to enable Intel products.

Work-life balance

The regular office hours are from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Saturday and for the shift, working hours will be 12 hours (7 am to 7 pm). Specifically, for this role, you will be eligible for Intel hybrid work model which allows you to split your time between working on-site at your assigned Intel site and off-site.

About you

To apply for this role, you must possess a Bachelor of Engineering degree or a Master of Science degree in Electronic, Electrical, or Computer Engineering

Additional qualifications include:

  • Familiar with UNIX, and well-versed in Verilog or C Programming- Knowledge in RTL integration and validation methodologies
  • Possesses strong analytical and debug skills
  • Ability to communicate well with counterparts and key stakeholders including cross-site partners
