Your role

Your Assignment

  • You will be overseeing the cleanliness and ambiance of the office environment.
  • You will be overseeing the maintenance of office facilities and equipment.
  • You will be reporting any office-related issue i.e. equipment faulty/malfunction cases to the relevant stakeholders and ensure the issues are resolved.
  • You will keep stock of office supplies and place orders when necessary.
  • You will support in organizing the office events and manage related clerical tasks i.e. food arrangement, and sound system coordination.
  • You will be supporting the process of vendor and payment management.
  • You will be supporting in building IKEA as a great place to work.
  • You will be performing other relevant duties when needed.

Training, development & rotations

IKEA has its system of learning and training designed for a specific job position. You will get introduction training as a new co-worker where you will learn about how the company operates, the safety and security rules, customer-friendly principles, and the environmental approach. You will also get a mentor – a colleague who answers all your questions shows you your department and introduces you to your colleagues. You will pass more training according to your training plan then.

Development possibilities in IKEA are as varied as the personalities of its co-workers. It has a Development talk at least once a year which is a friendly meeting with your manager where you agree together on where you would like to go and how you’d like to develop yourself in the future.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's Degree in Office Administration or equivalent. 
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
  • Familiarity with office management procedures. 
  • Strong work ethic & sense of commitment.
  • A team player, enjoy building good working relationships at all levels.
