As a Protege in the Admin Support (Account), your key responsibilities are:
Accounting:

  • Maintain and update financial records, including AP and AR, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and payments.
  • Prepare and submit SST returns/reports.
  • Assist in monthly closing, journal adjustments, audits, and tax matters.
  • Organize and file all accounting documents, ensuring they are accurate, complete, and up to date, both electronically and physically.
  • Ensure that all financial documents are stored securely and are easily accessible for auditing and reporting purposes.
  • Handle confidential financial information with discretion and professionalism.

Administrative:

  • Handle basic office tasks, such as filing, delivering mail, answering emails and phone calls, and data entry.
  • Implement clerical duties and administrative processes.
  • Maintain computer and manual filing systems.
  • Maintain contact lists.
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.
  • Research and create presentations.
  • Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders, and verifying receipt of supplies.
  • Coordinate repairs to office equipment.
  • Photocopy and print documents on behalf of colleagues.
  • Collect data and maintain databases.
  • Provide administrative support to internal teams.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or Master's in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Have experience in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
  • Good multitasking and organizational skills.
  • Can work in a team, proactive and self-motivated.
  • Pay attention to detail to ensure that all financial documents are accurate, properly organized, and free from errors.
  • Excel in managing multiple tasks and maintaining an orderly system for filing and retrieving accounting.
  • Handle sensitive information with the highest level of confidentiality and integrity.
  • Work well with others, offering support to your team and colleagues where it is due.
  • Flexible and can adjust to changing priorities or processes in a dynamic work environment.
