As a Protege in the Admin Support (Account), your key responsibilities are:
Accounting:
- Maintain and update financial records, including AP and AR, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and payments.
- Prepare and submit SST returns/reports.
- Assist in monthly closing, journal adjustments, audits, and tax matters.
- Organize and file all accounting documents, ensuring they are accurate, complete, and up to date, both electronically and physically.
- Ensure that all financial documents are stored securely and are easily accessible for auditing and reporting purposes.
- Handle confidential financial information with discretion and professionalism.
Administrative:
- Handle basic office tasks, such as filing, delivering mail, answering emails and phone calls, and data entry.
- Implement clerical duties and administrative processes.
- Maintain computer and manual filing systems.
- Maintain contact lists.
- Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.
- Research and create presentations.
- Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders, and verifying receipt of supplies.
- Coordinate repairs to office equipment.
- Photocopy and print documents on behalf of colleagues.
- Collect data and maintain databases.
- Provide administrative support to internal teams.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or Master's in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Have experience in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
- Good multitasking and organizational skills.
- Can work in a team, proactive and self-motivated.
- Pay attention to detail to ensure that all financial documents are accurate, properly organized, and free from errors.
- Excel in managing multiple tasks and maintaining an orderly system for filing and retrieving accounting.
- Handle sensitive information with the highest level of confidentiality and integrity.
