Your role

Join Hilti as an Intern in their Finance team and you will work on exciting projects as a General Ledger/Order to Cash/Procure to Pay. As a member of their international and multidisciplinary team, you will gain experience in this newly established Shared Service Center (SSC), as they provide all the Accounting-related services to Hilti organizations located in the Asian Pacific Region. They strive to provide standardized, high-quality, and value-adding services to the entities they service.

As an Accounting student at Hilti Asia IT Services, you are:

  • Required to perform basic tasks, such as invoice processing, preparing proposals for scheduled payment runs; prepare simple journals in the Blackline system.
  • To perform simple operational tasks, usually assigned to junior accountants. This will be done under the supervision of senior team members or team leaders.
  • To attend meetings both virtual and physical, as required. Also, in participating during teams discussions.

About you

The start date for the internship is flexible to the student's availability with a duration of at least 4-6 months. To apply for this role, what you need is:

  • You are currently enrolled in Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. studies in Business, Finance, or similar or equivalent finance qualification.
  • Your strategic approach and good problem-solving skills are paired with proactiveness and a hands-on mentality.
  • You have strong communication skills and interpersonal skills and you are fluent in written and spoken English.
  • You are eager to learn and challenge yourself.
