Your role

As a Technician - Engineering, Control & Instrumentation at Hartalega, you will do the work below:

• To ensure all safety procedures are followed.
• To execute all control system and instrumentation activities in the plant.
• To carry out daily inspection of control and instrumentation of the plant.
• To execute plant maintenance to ensure that all equipment is functioning properly and to supervise any plant machinery or equipment breakdown is attended to promptly and properly.
• To execute instrumentation calibration according to required accuracy and frequency.
• To involve in the control system continuous improvement plan and machinery automation
• To involve in the installation and testing of a new control system and instrumentation.
• To report on engineering matters including repairs, personnel needs, spare parts, and supplies.
• To learn operational knowledge of all control systems and instrumentation of the plant.
• To follow the quality system procedures and work instructions for the department.
• To work in a team in order to carry out engineering functions effectively.

Work-life balance

Hartalega applies standard working hours from 9 AM to 6 PM, Monday to Friday. However, if you are placed at the factory, you may need to work on a rotating shift. About you

You must meet the following requirements to apply for this role:

• Prior experience in utilities and maintenance (at least 1 year). However, fresh graduates with good attitudes and initiatives are highly encouraged.
• A Diploma or Certificate in Engineering (Electronic, Mechatronic, & Mechanical)

You should also have the qualifications below:

• Knowledge of PLC (Siemens, Fatek), basic wiring & mechanical parts installation.
• Good troubleshooting skills in PLC & Instrumentation.
• Able to speak and write in Bahasa Melayu and English.
• Able to understand wiring/loop drawings.
• Can work under pressure and meet job deadlines.
• Able to work on shift rotation.
