Your role

Hartalega DRIP is a Dynamic Growth Internship Program offered by Hartalega, a leading nitrile glove manufacturer in Malaysia. In this program, you will get an opportunity to learn from industry experts, work on impactful projects, and develop your skills and confidence in your chosen field. The program is open to students from various disciplines who have a CGPA of 3.3 or higher and can commit to a minimum of 3 months of internship. The program is open for applications all year.

Training & development 

Here is the roadmap of the program:

  • Onboarding: Orientation. You'll be welcome as a New DRIPPpers. You will be undergoing New Joine's Orientation to orient yourselves with the Hartalega Way!
  • Month 1: Engagement and CSR. You will have the opportunity to participate in (and contribute to) various company engagement and CSR activities. This month you will also get SOJT (Structured on-the-job training)
  • Month 2: Impactful Projects. You will be assigned to create, plan, and implement a small-scale project that could bring benefit and impact to the team or even the business itself. You will also get Dialogue with C-Suite
  • Month 3: DRIP Workshop. At this point, you are DRIP-ping with experience and passion! Explore your career development in this workshop and learn what you can gain from Hartalega post-DRIP. There will internship evaluation this month.
  • End of the internship. Congratulations! You have completed the program.

Work-life balance

Hartalega applies standard working hours from 9 AM to 6 PM, Monday to Friday. However, if you are placed at the factory, you may need to work on a rotating shift. Related to the working hours, most employees who reviewed online stated they did not have any issues with work-life balance when they worked at Hartalega.
