Your role

If you are looking to grow in an enriching career filled with opportunities and potential, it is seeking a Fresh Graduate to join the team as a Management Associate. Here are the following responsibilities to do:

  • Undergo structured on-the-job training rotations across various departments and entities to learn more about company functions, operations, management viewpoints, and company policies that affect each phase of business.
  • Participate in the Financial Sector Talent Enrichment Programme (FSTEP), Toastmasters club, and various other training and development programs as assigned.
  • Manage company-wide projects and events to develop leadership skills and work with Senior Management e.g. LIFE Programme, Townhall, Career Fairs, Employer Branding initiatives, etc.
  • Sets performance goals and objectives and monitors performance progress with Line Managers and accelerates personal growth through personal development interventions.
  • Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.
  • Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats, and technologies to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
  • Highlights any potential concerns /risks and proactively share best risk management practices
  • Other responsibilities entailed.

Training, development & rotations

Find the Great in your career through the 24-month Management Associate Programme and experience first-hand the inner workings of the financial and insurance sector. In the first three months, you will join Financial Sector Talent Enrichment Programme (FSTEP) dan 21 months of On-The-Job Training.

Through multiple job rotations in various departments, you will be coached and mentored by the leaders of Great Eastern, and supported by its dedicated Human Capital team.

Career progression

After graduating from the program, you will be hired as a full-time employee for the leader position from associate to manager level based on performance.

About you

If you want to join this programme, you have to meet the following criteria:

  • A fresh graduate with less than 1 year of working experience, and aged 25 years young or younger
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree holder in any discipline
  • An academic superstar (minimum CGPA 3.5 or Upper Second-Class Honours)
  • A chameleon (agile, adaptable, open to fit into any situation)
  • A walking dictionary (strong writing and speaking skills in English)
  • An all-rounder (proven passion and involvement in various extra-curricular activities and hobbies)
  • An influencer (strong leadership and interpersonal skills when working with others)
  • A Malaysian citizen
  • Ability to communicate effectively and able to work as part of a team.
