Your role

About the Team:

The Operations team is responsible for maintaining a high standard of operation excellence in
the city they manage. The team needs to be able to create quick wins and create long-term furnishings of satisfaction to accelerate growth.

As an intern, your responsibilities include:

  • Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable
  • Work closely with the GDC Coordinator / Specialist to ensure the GDC process runs smoothly
  • Attends to inquiries from drivers and riders and assigns appropriate ticketing
  • Assist with administrative tasks and any other duties delegated by the teams
  • Greet and meet all internal and external customers with a friendly disposition and professionalism
  • Handle escalated driver issues calmly and professionally, ensuring any outstanding issues are resolved in a timely manner
  • Provide periodic feedback to the team and maintain a continuous improvement culture
  • To perform tasks related to acquiring new drivers, ensures drivers and riders are well knowledgeable about Grab’s services
  • Assist with incoming and maintain inventory and ensure items are in stock

About you

The must-haves for this internship:

  • Candidate must possess at least SPM or equivalent
  • Possess strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Agile and able to work in a fast-paced environment, with an excellent time,
  • presentation, and project management skills
  • Having a positive attitude and can-do spirit is critical
  • Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Proficiency in Mandarin would be an advantage
  • Basic knowledge of Excel (basic formulas such as SUM, IF, VLOOKUP, etc)
