Your role

As a tax analyst at DXC Technology, you will carry the following tasks and responsibilities:

• Prepares and/or reviews income tax computation and income tax return in accordance with relevant tax legislations and regulations.
• Identifying and driving improvement projects to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of tax computation/tax return preparation processes.
• Liaising with various internal teams, clients, and tax agents in relation to tax computation and income tax returns.
• Provision of regular tax updates and internal/support to internal teams.
• Evaluate the impact of tax legislation/regulations/case changes on clients and internal support/advice to internal teams.
• Assist clients in ad-hoc tax compliance matters.

About you

If you are interested to be a Tax Analyst at DXC Technology Malaysia, you must have the following requirements:

• Recognized Bachelor’s degree or professional accounting qualification.
• Minimum 1 to 2 years experience in tax work.
• Fresh graduates may be considered if a candidate has taken tax subjects during the course of study.
• Basic knowledge of Malaysian tax legislation, regulations, public rulings, and guidelines (both direct and indirect tax).
• Strong analytical skills, and ability to comprehend complex transactions and provide solutions.
• Detailed-oriented and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia. Literacy in other languages is welcomed.
• Good leadership and people skills.
• Mature and pleasant personality and a team player.
• Self-starter and ability to work independently.
• Conversant with MS Office.
• Experience in ERP systems eg. SAP is welcomed.
