Your role

This job is an internship for Business & Maritime students. You would learn from DHL's senior experts and work in Ocean Freight. You might like this job because it offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data entry and pricing of the ocean freight business of the department and learn from experienced professionals.

During this internship, you will be learning from DHL's senior experts. Your daily job scope consists:

  • Under supervision support administration of OFR activities as part of the OFR pricing & RFQ/tender management plans and processes to support the commercial plans
  • Under supervision provide administrative support for timely monitoring and accurate updating of local tariffs
  • Support general admin tasks to draft and submit relevant documents for tenders
  • Comply with established procedures to maintain databases with specific information to enable quick responses to specific network queries.
  • Classify basic information to consolidate, record information, and handle day-to-day shipment documentation
  • Assist in reporting recent developments of new solutions, services, lane, and traffic development.
  • Communicate information that requires little explanation or interpretation.
  • Any ad-hoc tasks that are assigned by the supervisor.

  • Being able to compose, speak, and write professionally in English.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook)
