Job description
This internship is designed to provide you with exposure to real-world supply chain operations, enhance your analytical skills, and enable you to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. You will work under the guidance of experienced supply chain professionals and participate in tasks related to procurement, logistics, inventory management, and data analysis.
Key responsibilities
- Perform inbound receiving activities according to the daily work plan
- Perform outbound shipping activities according to the daily work plan
- Execute the job assignment allocated by the team leader
- Upkeep the safety, quality, and stewardship standards in the plant
- Execution of warehouse sampling tasks according to the daily work plan
- Execution of warehouse material replenishment according to the daily work plan
- Drive continuous improvement of warehouse management work processes
- Support in the supply chain areas with reporting, data management, and analysis.
- Supervising and reporting on network activities like stock management, deliveries, and flow optimization.
- Detailed analysis of data process maps and problems.
- Development of efficiency projects and improving performances and efficiency of our logistics network.
- Provide and verify service levels (KPIs)
- Provide ideas and follow projects for activities and process improvement.
- Billing verifications and manual reporting
- Weekly freight billing and inbound/Outbound shipment tracking
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Management, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, draw insights, and propose solutions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or other data analysis tools to manipulate and analyze large datasets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision in work.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and actively contribute to project goals.
- Demonstrated organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Prior internship or project experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, or related fields is a plus.
- Familiarity with supply chain management software or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is desirable. Knowledge of basic supply chain concepts, such as procurement, inventory management, and logistics, is preferred.
