Your role

Deloitte Global Employer Services Immigration team's experience working with local regulators, immigration authorities, and multi-jurisdictional committees provides indispensable knowledge and insights that can help facilitate the streamlined management of essential issues. This expertise provides distinctive insight into helping ensure that immigration compliance requirements are effectively and efficiently managed.

Work you’ll do

To assist and serve a portfolio of sizeable multinational clients relating to advisory and consultancy on the following:

  • Immigration support (this may include coordinating all requirements of immigration from initial consultation, eligibility assessments, technical advisory drafts, and preparation of immigration documentation.)
  • Legal advisory liaison on business and employment-related issues.
  • Provide immigration support to regional portfolios when required.
  • Liaising with relevant authorities for immigration cases.
  • Have a clear overview of ongoing cases and manage escalations timely and professionally.
  • Conducting ad-hoc research where necessary.

About you

Skills and attributes for success :

  • Bachelor's degree in any field.
  • Have a keen interest in building a career within Immigration
  • Strong command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (both written and spoken). Fluency in other languages/dialect is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of immigration services in Malaysia (East and West Malaysia) is an added advantage.
  • A team player with customer service acumen, and interpersonal and analytical skills.
  • Able to project manage.
  • Have experience with analyzing data

  • This is followed by a face-to-face interview or an Assessment Day with the service line you are applying for. This is an in-depth interview and discussion regarding your technical and motivational fit for the role, team, and firm. The number of interviews varies from service line to service line.
  • As required The Final Stage could be a meeting with a Partner/Director dependent on the process each Service Line follows.
  • Assessment Days are scheduled based on Business Diaries and these dates will be shared with you by The Graduate Team.  An Assessment Day generally runs from 08:00 - 14:00.
