About the team

The Dell Security & Resiliency organization manages the security risk across all aspects of Dell’s business. The organization is currently experiencing incredible growth in order to meet the security needs of the world’s largest technology company. Responsibilities

• Assist customers in satisfying information assurance and security requirements based on the analysis of user and policy demands
• Evaluate information security solutions and processes to provide recommendations supporting Dell security standards
• Utilize internal guidelines to properly fulfill client requests and resolve incidents received via e-mail or internal ticketing systems in a timely and detail-oriented manner
• Operate, configure, and troubleshoot network intrusion detection devices and other security systems
• Perform vulnerability/risk analysis of computer systems and applications as directed

About you

To apply for this role, you need to meet the requirements below:

• Essential requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Cybersecurity/ Security Technology / Information Technology or equivalent. Able to join our internship by Feb/Mar 2024 onwards (4-6 months)
  • Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals or system administrator skills.
  • Excellent command of English, both written and verbal.
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Familiarity with various types and techniques of cyber-attacks. Results-driven and willing to learn while projecting excellent initiative.
• Desirable requirements
  • Good attitude and willing to work on shift
  • Familiarization with common protocols. Basic experience with command-line interfaces.
